Catarina convida…

… Verónica Taboada Tavares (9ºA)

Last year, I went to Germany. My cousin works there and I asked him if I could spend some weeks there. He said that it was OK and I told my parents. Next week, I was at the airport.

I caught the plane alone and when I arrived in Berlin, my cousin was waiting for me. He was on holiday too, so he wanted to show me the country. We went to see the rests of Berlin’s wall, the Wax Museum and other beautiful things. We also went to Hamburg, where we did a boat trip. We met some friends and I had a great time.

I think it was the greatest holiday of my life, and I’m sure that Ill do it again, to see new things and to know about the country. It was so great that when my parents got on holidays, they decided to spend two weeks in Berlin, too. Of course, I went with them. To surprise me, they had invited my best friend. So we went to the beach together (up there, in the North Sea, close to Bremerhaven) and visited some other places in the neighbourhoods. For the two next days we did nothing but sleep, because we were doing too many things and we got tired.

Globally we had a lot of fun and we’ll never forget those days.

No ano passado fui à Alemanha. O meu primo trabalha lá e eu quis saber se podia ir lá passar uns dias com ele. Ele disse que sim e eu falei aos meus pais sobre o assunto. Na semana seguinte estava no aeroporto.

Voei sozinha e, quando cheguei a Berlim, o meu primo estava à minha espera. Ele também estava de férias e, portanto, disponível para me mostrar o país. Fomos ver o que restou do Muro, o Museu de Cera e outras coisas porreiras. Também viajámos até Hamburgo, onde demos um passeio de barco. Fizemos amigos e diverti-me a valer.

Acho que foram as férias mais fantásticas da minha vida e estou certa que vou repetir, para ver mais coisas e aprender mais sobre o país. Foi tudo tão fantástico que os meus pais, logo que tiveram férias, decidiram também ir passar duas semanas na Alemanha. É evidente que eu fui com eles. Para minha surpresa, eles tinham convidado a minha melhor amiga. Então fomos todos à praia (lá em cima no Mar do Norte, perto de Bremerhaven) e depois acabámos por visitar outros lugares na região. Durante os dois dias seguintes só dormimos, porque fizemos coisas demais e estávamos cansados.

Em suma, divertimo-nos à brava e nunca mais vamos esquecer aqueles dias.
