Space Exploration

From my point of view, space exploration is extremely important to know not only our past but also our future. If we think about it, many things we know nowadays are due to space exploration.

The artificial satellites have become powerful tools for observing the Earth and the Sun and exploring the outer space. We can use a satellite navigation system such as GPS to navigate the seas or travel in the mazes of a metropolis.

We can communicate almost instantly across the globe through an extensive telecommunications network (TV, Internet) which also includes satellites. We can access Google Earth’s surface. This way, the satellites have allowed us to go beyond our tiny planet and get to know the universe around us. However, these projects have also had its consequences on Earth.

The world’s countries have been constantly investing in these projects and all that is known by man will help us to better understand our planet and ourselves as well as improve our life conditions through the research made which will then be used to solve every day problems, such as the development of wheel chairs.
